LUMINATO FESTIVAL Toronto, 2007
Luminato Festival is a new arts festival in Toronto. L’Oreal is the presenting sponsor. In partnership with them for the first edition, they commissioned me to paint an outdoor mural live for 10 days. The mural was painted on a 40 X 60 feet vinyl banner, hung on the side of the Germain Hotel in downtown Toronto. This painting was made in a pure intuitive passion and not the scaled reproduction of a model version. The mural was taken down after the festival and was supposed to be offered to a public building in the city. Sadly, it still lies in a warehouse. I would love to see it up again some day...
